Gobul Weaknesses

• Elemental Weakness: Fire and Thunder are highly effective against Gobul.
• Weak Points: Focus on its underside and head Lantern to deal heavy damage.
• Status Effect: Poison can also be very effective during the hunt.

Best Hunting Strategies

Avoid the Lantern Flash: When Gobul's Lantern starts glowing, move away quickly or guard with a shield to avoid being stunned.

Puffed-up Form: When enraged, Gobul inflates its body and exposes its spikes, making it harder to attack safely. Use ranged attacks or a well-timed Sonic Bomb when it is hiding underground to force it into a vulnerable position.

Use Frog Bait: If underwater combat is difficult, use a Frog as bait while fishing from the riverbank. When Gobul bites, pull it onto land, where it becomes much slower and easier to fight.

Breakable Parts & Rewards

Breaking Gobul's Lantern can increase the chance of obtaining a rare Gobul Lantern. Cutting its Whiskers provides useful crafting materials, while severing its Tail gives an additional carving opportunity.
